Its really rare that u get a friend who is willing to come all the way to your work place and wait for u for close to an hour jus to spend a short time with u.. but I’m glad I have one who did exactly that and she’s definitely one whom I’ll cherish for the rest of my life..(i suppose the person concerned shud realise y tis part is in tis colour)
Thanks for making my day bestie. Calling it a surprise is an understatement since I was actually overwhelmed with joy and couldn’t stop hugging her for being such a gem.. jus when I emerged from work all tired out, the sight of her standing there was revitalizing.. really couldn’t believe my eyes mann.. and was of cox sooo touched.. but It really gets me wondering how I miss her so much when I talk to her almost every single day and met her less than a week ago.. but who wouldn’t miss a friend like that huh?! (babex,, I deserve a treat for giving u so much credit,, but still u deserve more than this;))
so jus sitting at a place, catching up with stuff, bitching and commenting on passer-bys n after which heading our ways was a wunnerful way of ending my day.. purely content.. thanks again laling..
And jus as u asked,, backdrop is left confidential since our prestige is at stake.. hehex..

For now, life is going smooth.. beginning to love my work and the working hours is simply suited to my needs since my priority lies in getting sufficient beauty sleep.. the working environment is also really nice with friendly colleagues.. And not forgetting my supervisor, Christina who’s like a mother hen to all of us.. Besides this, my work place is also situated at a considerably nice location allowing me to go thru and fro from work, being met with such tranquility and allowing me to look out to rivers and boats while having my lunch breaks.. Though lunch break is only for twenty mins, its good enough since I only work for five hours.. And being accompanied with my childhood companion most certainly adds on to the delight factor.. Its like we’re fated to be together.. hahakx.. Even without any pre-planning, we somehow or rather end up together.. guess for now, such simplicity is all that I’d wish for in life after all the frenzies I had to endure last year..

It was certainly worth it taking an off day from work and going back to MI today for the Open House.. the only issue, being the need to wear back the sch uniform and mine is long lost.. think the last time I saw it was when it came back from laundry after I last wore it for my last A level ppr..
Mr Nasser actually called me back to school since he needed me to represent the Indian students in the Mother Tongue Language room.. but when he told me I had to wear uniform with collar pin some more I flipped. Uniform so big ready I dono where? How on earth would I find a collar pin which is as small as my pinky finger? And when I asked y must wear uniform, he was like ‘You still haven’t fully graduate from MI since you haven’t gotten your results. And u r also representing the school.’
And as I was freaking out over the prospect of turning my whole house down to look for my sch stuff Ganga can actually go ‘ehk!! Since he say we haven’t graduate and we r still students ask him if can give us back the student fare ahk!!’.. yea,, as much as she had issues with the transportation fare, you can always count on her to come up with such intellectuals at the WRONG time.. but at least she was nice enough to offer her school uni.. so shall forgive her for her insanity yes?!;) Though I had to eventually borrow aminah’s instead and sumitra’s collar pin.. Thanks for that darlings..
Wells despite all that it was great being back in school and catching up with sumitra, and the other millennians and teachers.. esp since I blended in so well with them, being clad in the blue uniform:)

Thanks to bestie, I’m now an employed citizen of the state.. hahakx.. darling was sweet enuf to call me up for the job she was offered.. and when I went for the interview today, I was employed on the spot.. now,, that’s what I call an interview.. I mean, I was sooo sick of attending interviews and receieving empty promises that they’d get back to me.. its such a waste of my transportation fare yaw.. which was y when the recruiter went ‘you can start work now?’ I gave her such a dumb look coz I thought I was hearing things.. but yep, I got the job.. yay!! Thanks aminah darling.. I owe u a treat? Maybe a Mac student meal?(thank god I’m still eligible for it and not being deprived of that as well)

Having a regular feast with the companion of the ones that you love is most certainly a splendid way to end a hectic day. Making up for lost times and catching up on each others life has become a monthly routine ever since big sis got married. Though its not the same as sharing them fresh at every second, it most certainly beats not having to wait for special occasions just so we can see each other. It is true that when people r close you tend to take things for granted and its only after there’s a certain amount of distance between that you learn to appreciate them and their existence. Anw, the meet up at lau par sat(is that hw its spelt?) food court and chatting over dinner with oily and greasy satays was jus pretty comforting.. shall now go snuggle down for a great night sleep after a fulfilling day..

Seriously, when it comes to deducting money nothing beats the ruling body of our city. I guess the moment the new year swung in, they began charging me with adult fare. And adult fare is jus utterly insane. I’m being charged 69 cents for like FIVE BUS STOPS?? It’s like daylight robbery lahk!! And what makes u think I’m actually an adult? Not say they readily give me a job as soon as I graduated from sch, and even if I DO have a job, its gonna be jus a part time job with meager pay right? Even for that they start forcing me to contribute to the economy through my transportation fare? Isn’t it good enough that they have so many ERPs in the state? If possible they’ll set up ERP at Pedra Branca. Remind me again y Singaporeans r migrating at every opportunity they get?!

Let us acknowledge the time of the year ONCE AGAIN! Where everyone resorts to make New Year resolutions, which more often then not never gets 'resoluted', and passes on to the next year and makes all the aims of I shall do this and try that, I shall forgo this and accomplish that!! Anw, wishing all you earth inhabitants a very happy and blessed 2010 and lets all pray that this coming year would be less of a biatch as compared to that of 2009, shall we?! Yeap it is safe to say that 2009 ended too fast and the most I rmb outta this year was muggings and exams.. But I also came to realize the true value of friendship, the need to salvage the strong relationships and ties u establish with people who are worth being trusted and relied upon and the importance of your family(did I jus say that?!)-but its actually true, they r really the ones who hold u up when you fall, with genuine care and affection and one may lean on them with no qualms at all..
I realized that sometimes you don’t necessarily need to know lots of people or be surrounded with so many people.. I used to be a social butterfly that interacts with everyone and I could be labeled as someone who is so gullible that I could trust someone sooo readily. But now, I jus feel that i’m more than happy with the company of a few friends whom r worth rendering my life to. And I’m glad 2009 helped me find that ONE friend who I can trust completely and will never hesitate to share my thoughts with.. True friends bring out the best in u and I’m glad that the ones that I now have r THE ones!!
So,, after reflections lets now get down to the customaries that never last shall we?! Just for the fun of it?!
1) Obtaining my driving license by the end of the year
2) Start being more organized since currently I care more about organizing my wardrobe
3) Stay fit and healthy
4) And maybe I should start being a wee bit more less affectionate to people who don’t deserve it cox it really does not pay to be kind and nice to people who eventually betray u
5) Spend less on unnecessary things and try to save more (wipe that smirk off your faces!!);)

Take it or leave it.. Hmm,, seems like my fourth resolution is being put to action already.. Once again, Happy New Year everyone
P.S. Merry X’mas to all too.. though it’s a lil late, X’mas spirit still exists right? Considering that there r 12 days of Christmas..
